Safety is taken very seriously at Walker-Adams as motorsport can be dangerous. Apart from the safety features on the karts that are list in the Kart Design section, the following procedures are also implemented:

- Warning signs posted around the track
- Participants are issued with helmets, neck braces, gloves and overalls
- Risk assessment has been completed on track in conjunction with the insurance company
- Coloured lights and flags are used to control the racing
- Marshals continually monitor the track & karts during races
- The off-road karting is totally non-contact.
- A trained fire marshal and first aider is always at the track
- The karts undergo regular safety inspections and a log is kept
- A 4x4 support vehicle is on hand with fire extinguishers and first aid kit
