Track & Facilities
We have a fully heated hospitality suite on site where you gather on arrival. This facility remains open all year round so you can stay warm on a cold winter day or remain cool in the heat of the summer.
There is an outside viewing area with sheltered seating available.
Both indoor and outdoor facilities are situated on a purpose built mound so that participants and spectators can enjoy the view of Birmingham city centre whilst watching the antics of friends and colleagues in the off road karts. The views are spectacular at night when the track is lit by stadium lights and the bright city lights provide a colourful backdrop to the racing karts.
Free hot drinks are available before and during your event. A small selection of cold drinks and snacks is also available to purchase. All events can be fully catered.
The computer controlled lap timing equipment is available to view throughout your event and provides continuous updates as to driver positions and lap times.
Participants are supplied with overalls or waterproof clothing (weather dependent) and standard safety equipment. There is a designated indoor changing area fully heated.
The hospitality suite can be booked for private functions, meetings and small conferences. Alternative conference facilities are also provided within a short drive from the track. Please see Corporate Events.
The Track
The 4 acre plot has been landscaped to create the 800m long by 6m wide track suitable for running multiple karts. With our fabulous gravel surface the track is fast, loose and fun with minimal mess.
The track has been designed to get the maximum performance from the kart and driver. Dips and undulations in the track surface add to the twisty curves of the track make the course a challenge to navigate. The track surface changes during an event due to wear from the karts. That keeps the driver continuously thinking whilst trying to achieve fast laps. Typical lap time range between 1min and 1min 15 sec. The track is continually maintained between events to keep it safe.
