Project Brief: To supply a 4x4 comp safari vehicle for racing, to compete against high HP Land Rover based vehicles. The vehicle was to be light weight, similar to the UTV’s coming from America, but using a car engine instead of a motor cycle engine.

A complete MSA approved chassis was developed with 18in of suspension travel. We used the 1.6ltr Ford ecoboost engine with a sequential gearbox running a 4wd system. The engine produced 220 HP with a kerb weight of 850 kg. We provided race support at the comp safari races. We provided further vehicle tuning and development throughout the season to optimise performance.
